Diabetes Education and Support

NorWest is proud to offer free counselling and support services for people in the Inkster community who live with diabetes.

Details

We have a team of physicians, nurse practitioners, certified diabetes educators, clinical pharmacist, health promoter, dietitians and primary care nurses to help you live well with diabetes.

We also offer:

  • Nutrition counselling – nutrition assessments, education, meal planning and label reading with a dietitian or certified diabetes educator.
  • Medication management – medication assessment and review by a clinical pharmacist, medication adjustments, education and support with medication management; Insulin starts and adjustment by the team.
  • Self-management support groups
